How-to clean and refurbish oxidised or sun-faded anodised, or powder coated window frames

Aluminium window frames and extrusions can fade and oxidise from exposure to the sun. Anodised aluminium can get ugly pits from salt corrosion if located near the ocean. Even new aluminium can be ruined by pitting or staining by stucco or mortar which ruins the protective finish.

If your painted or powder coated windows are faded or dull, the entire building loses curb appeal. Your home, business or storefront will be much improved if you clean and restore the colour and lustre of faded, dull or chalky painted or powder-coated aluminium window frames. Everbrite™ Clear Restoration Coating will restore the colour and lustre on dull and faded aluminium window frames and will protect them from oxidation, corrosion and other damaging elements. Everbrite™ can also be used to refurbish and protect aluminium curtain wall.

  • No matter the colour of the aluminium, Everbrite™ will renew the colour and finish of the aluminium and will restore it to look new again.

  • Everbrite™ will also restore anodised aluminium that has been damaged by stucco or mortar. You can test the aluminium by cleaning an area and observing it while it is clean and STILL WET. If the aluminium looks good when it is clean and wet, it can be restored with Everbrite™.
