How-to clean and refurbish oxidised or sun-faded anodised, or powder coated window frames

Aluminium window frames and extrusions can fade and oxidise from exposure to the sun. Anodised aluminium can get ugly pits from salt corrosion if located near the ocean. Even new aluminium can be ruined by pitting or staining by stucco or mortar which ruins the protective finish.
